Check Out Our Troop’s Facebook Page
Our Troop’s new Facebook page can be found at https://www.facebook.com/Troop48Germantown/?hc_ref=NEWSFEED
Please invite your friends to “Like” our Facebook page, this is an easy way you can help to recruit new Scouts to our Troop.
Here are some tips for the new Facebook page:
· Have pictures from a recent event? Email your best 12 to Marjorie Reynolds at marjreynolds@gmail.com. Have more than a dozen great ones? Email them all! 12 will be posted to FB and the rest can be uploaded to the Troop website.
· If you post a picture on your own page or to the Troop 48 page, please include #Troop48Gtown in your post. It creates a gallery of all the pictures that can be accessed by clicking #Troop48Gtown.
Welcome New Scouts
We would like to welcome four new Scouts and their families to the Troop:

· Nate Ebbs
· Isaak Holman
Thanks to Elliot Ragland and Teddy Johnson for inviting their friends to join us!
Updated Troop Roster Attached
An updated Troop Roster including our four new Scouts is attached. Please save this file where you can easily access it, as it is not posted on our Troop website. We also recommend printing out a copy to have on hand if our Troop is mobilized for emergency assistance when the power is out. If any of your contact information needs to be updated, please let Mr. Brian Issing know.
Save the Dates
December 13th – Troop Christmas Pot-Luck Dinner – 6 pm
February 10th – 62nd Annual Spaghetti Supper fundraiser
Greenery & Popcorn Fundraisers – Orders and money due October 25th
Mrs. Gina Eddleman is leading our greenery sale, and Mr. Ross Earl is leading our popcorn sale. If you did not receive order forms last week, please get those from Mrs. Eddleman and Mr. Earl. They are also available if you have any questions. The orders and money are due on October 25th, and the products will be delivered in mid-November. Remember that for the greenery sale, for the Holiday Gift Products that are shipped directly to the purchaser, you need to fill out a Holiday Gift Order form for each item. Mrs. Eddleman has more Holiday forms if you need them, and please return Holiday forms you won’t be using to her. Every Scout or Scouter who sells popcorn or greenery will earn 60% of the profits for their ScoutBucks accounts, so the more you sell, the more Scoutbucks you will have to pay for campouts, trips, Summer camp, etc.
