Troop Christmas Party Potluck and Awards Court of Honor – 6:00 pm
Our Troop’s Christmas party and potluck dinner will be this Tuesday December 9th at 6 pm in Faith Hall for our Scouts and families. Sign-up for food has been emailed to everyone. Each Scout will need to bring a wrapped gift for a gift exchange worth $5-$15.
Christmas Baskets Service Project – Dec 14 & 16th
We are going to donate food baskets to 4 families this year. Please let Mrs. Sheridan Baldwin (Jmbsab2972@yahoo.com) know if you can help assemble and deliver baskets on December 16th at 4:00 at the church. Scouts and adult drivers are needed. We also need a few Scouts to volunteer to help shop on Sunday, Dec 14th, meeting at the church at 2:00. Please sign up with Mrs. Baldwin if you can help.
If you forgot to bring a donated item last week for the Christmas baskets, please bring it to the Dec 9th potluck – see the list below. If your last name starts with the letter next to the item, that is the item we need from you. For example, if your Scout’s last name begins with “D”, he would bring Cream of Mushroom Soup.
1. Boxed Mashed Potatoes - A & S
2. Stuffing - B
3. Green Beans - C & W
4. Cream of Mushroom Soup - D
5. French’s Onions - E
6. Cranberry Sauce - G
7. Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix - H

Troop Committee – Open Positions
We have open positions on the Troop Committee for Secretary and Chaplain. If you are interested in one of these positions, please contact Kim Ridenhour. All parents are welcome to attend Committee meetings. Our next Committee meeting will be January 5th at 7 pm at the church in Room 117.
Troop Meetings – Holiday Breaks
There will be no regular Tuesday Troop meetings on Dec. 16, 23 or 30th. We hope everyone enjoys the holiday, and we will start back with regular weekly Troop meetings on Tuesday, January 6th at 7 pm. The $25 campout fee for the Jan 17-19 backpacking trip will be due on January 6th.
Summer Camp Financial Assistance
A limited number of Troop Camperships are available to provide financial assistance for summer camp upon a demonstrated family financial need. Scouts are encouraged to earn a portion of their fees in following the Scout Law tenet of, "A Scout is Thrifty".
