John Dockstader became an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 48 in 2020 and was promoted to Scoutmaster on September 1, 2022. He earned his Arrow of Light in 1986 with Pack 464 in Bellevue, NE, and his Eagle Scout in 1992 with Troop 94 in Folsom, CA. He has been an adult leader for 10+ years. He completed Wood Badge training and has held the positions of Den Leader, Pack Committee Chair, and Chaplain.

I have 43 years combined registration as a Scout and a Scouter in various roles. I am an Eagle Scout, and I am the father of an Eagle Scout and a Life Scout. I have re-chartered two Cub Scout Packs and served as COR, Cubmaster and Den Leader in both Packs. In two different troops I have served as COR, assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster and Committee Chair. I have been an active committee member in Troop 48 since 1997. At the district level I have been an Eastern District Board member for six years and have served as the District FOS/Finance Chair for five years. At the Chickasaw Council level I serve on the Shooting Sports Committee as an NRA Rifle, Shotgun and Pistol Instructor and a Chief Range Safety Officer. I am also a shooting sports merit badge counselor.

Brian D. Issing - Scoutmaster Emeritus

Brian Issing is an Eagle Scout and was the Scoutmaster for all of 2003 and then again since May of 2008. He grew up in Troop 381 in Hicksville, N.Y. where he was the Scoutmaster for five years. He has been an adult leader for 40+ years. He is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, completed Wood Badge training and is a recipient of the Silver Beaver award.  Brian Retired as Scoutmaster at the end of August, 2022, after a combined 15 years and 3 months as Scoutmaster.
