September 20th Service Project
The Troop will be repairing and staining fences at the church around the air conditioning units on Saturday morning from 9 am to 1 pm, September 20th. We need a good number of Scouts and Adults to help. Please sign up at the 9/16 Troop meeting if you can attend or email Kim Ridenhour to sign up. Everyone should wear old clothes suitable for painting and bring a water bottle. We will order pizza for lunch. Scouts can earn service project hours for their rank requirements.
Greenery Fundraiser
The packets were handed out at the last meeting, so please see Gina Eddleman if you did not receive a packet. Orders and money are due by October 28th. Scouts will earn 60% of the profits they sell in their own Scout Bucks account, and there are prizes for top sellers and anyone who sells more than Mr. Issing! If you have any questions concerning the greenery fundraiser, please contact Gina Eddleman.
Popcorn Sale – Save the dates
We will be starting our Popcorn sale soon, and plan to have Show & Sells at Lowe’s and Kroger on October 4th and 5th. More details to come later, but save these dates.
Eagle Scout Court of Honor – Save the Date
The Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Josh Albert will be on Saturday, November 15th at 5:00 pm. Invitations will be mailed later to everyone’s homes.
Updated Troop Roster
Attached is an updated Troop Roster with everyone’s contact information, including our new Scouts. Please print out the roster and keep it in a safe place in case of emergency and the Troop is mobilized to assist. If any information needs to be updated, please send updates to Brian Issing.
Kroger Community Rewards
Attached are the directions to select Troop 48 as your designated charity for the Kroger Community Rewards program. If you follow these instructions to sign up, each time you have the Kroger Plus shopping card scanned with your purchases, a portion gets donated to Troop 48. You should see at the bottom of your receipt that Boy Scout Troop 48 is getting the Kroger Community Rewards credit for your purchases. This is an easy way for everyone to help raise money for the Troop!
