Final Philmont Reminder
Troop 48 is going to Philmont Scout Ranch for a 12 day backpacking adventure next year - June 26-July 8, 2018. Philmont is considered by many to be the ultimate Scouting adventure. We still have two spots available for Scouts interested in attending. Initial deposits of $100 per person are due by Tuesday January 24th. We would love to take a full crew of 12, unfortunately we are only allowed 4 adults over 21 and those spots have been taken. If interested please contact Bo Hormberg at 277-6878.
Updated Troop Roster
Attached is an updated copy of our Troop Roster with contact information for everyone. Please save this file, as this is not available on the Troop website.
Spaghetti Supper Supplies - Donations
If you have any contacts who would be able to help with donating food or paper goods that we could use at the Spaghetti Supper, please contact Kelley Lee or Eric Hube. Any donations would be appreciated.
Skymont Summer Camp
The Troop will be attending Skymont Summer Camp on June 10-17. The total fee will be $200 for Scouts and $85 for Adults. These amounts are being subsidized by Troop funds per person by $80 for Scouts and $65 for Adults. The first deposit of $75 for Scouts and $30 for Adults for Skymont Summer Camp is due February 7th. More information will be provided at the February 7th meeting.

Scouts are encouraged to earn a portion of their fees in following the Scout Law tenet of, "A Scout is Thrifty". Please contact Scoutmaster Brian Issing, Treasurer Fred Lee, or Committee Chair Kim Ridenhour by January 31st if you would like to inquire further. This program is kept confidential.
