Skymont Summer Camp – 1^st Deposit due this Tuesday, February 7

The Troop will be attending Skymont Summer Camp on June 10-17. The total fee will be $200 for Scouts and $85 for Adults. These amounts are being subsidized by Troop funds per person by $80 for Scouts and $65 for Adults. The first deposit of $75 for Scouts and $30 for Adults for Skymont Summer Camp is due this Tuesday, February 7^th, or you may pay the full fee if you like.  More information will be provided at the February 7^th meeting. Please note that Skymont payments may not be refundable, unless another Scout takes the spot. Please make every effort to sign up by February 7^nd, as the Troop has to make payment to Skymont very soon after that.

 

BSA Health Forms – Parts A and B due this Tuesday, February 7th

So that we can have the most up-to-date information, BSA Health Forms Parts A and B are due to Mr. Richard Ralph by February 7^th with a copy of your 2017 insurance card. All Scouts and adults attending campouts should turn in Parts A and B. These forms do not require a doctor’s signature.  Part C that requires a doctor’s signature will be due by the end of April. Awards Court of Honor – Tuesday February 7

All families are invited to attend our Awards Court of Honor in the chapel at 7:00 pm. Refreshments will be provided afterwards by the Phoenix and Python patrols.

 

62^nd Annual Spaghetti Supper – Sell your Tickets!

Tickets for the spaghetti supper fundraiser were handed out to Scouts (each Scout received 8 tickets), and tickets are $10 each. For every 8 tickets sold, one free ticket is earned. On Saturday, February 11^th, we will meet at the church at 1:00 pm to sell tickets in the neighborhoods around the church, ending at 3:00 pm (wear your uniform). Please turn in ticket money and any unsold tickets on Tuesday, February 14^th.

On Friday, February 17^th, we need Scouts to be there at 4:00 pm in uniform, and we need all parents to help out. Parents, please let Kelley Lee know how you would like to help - cook, set-up, clean-up, etc.  We also need each family to provide a dessert on the 17^th. The time for the dinner is 5 pm – 7 pm.

 

Boy Scout Sunday – February 12 – A Scout is Reverent

All Scouts and their families are invited to attend the worship service at Faith Presbyterian Church to celebrate Boy Scout Sunday on February 12th. Scouts should wear Class A uniforms. We will also be taking Troop and Patrol photos at 10:00 am in the chapel, so please don’t be late and miss being in the picture. The worship service begins at 10:45 am. If you prefer to attend your own church service, please try to at least stop by for the photos at 10:00 in uniform. Scout Sunday is designated near February 8 (Scouting Anniversary Day) to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting.
