Awards Court of Honor – Tuesday, May 7 – Campout and Summer Adventure fees due
All Scouts and their families should plan to attend our Awards Court of Honor next Tuesday night at 7 PM in the chapel. Refreshments will be served afterward in the Scout room. We still have some open slots for refreshments, so please sign up on this website: Refreshment Sign-Up . The following payments are due that night:
· The May climbing campout fee of $75 per person is due 5/7. The campout will be May 17-19 at Jackson Falls, IL.
· The first $25 deposit for the Summer Adventure trip on July 6-13 is due 5/7. This trip will be backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. The final payment will be $50 and will be due on June 4 (please plan to pay early if you will be out of town). The troop is subsidizing half of the costs of the trip. You must have backpacked with the troop before to attend this trip. Please note that any adults attending a trip more than 3 days need to be registered with Scouts BSA (see Kim Ridenhour to get registered).
Church Service Project – May 11
The troop will be staining and sealing the picnic tables and pergola next to the Ralph Moak garage on Saturday, May 11 beginning at 9 AM. A pizza lunch will be provided. Please wear old work clothes and bring a water bottle. Please plan to be there as this is our troop’s chance to give back to our church home and say thank you! Scouts who participate will earn service hours towards advancement.
