Campout Fees for November 14-15 Backpacking Trip due this Tuesday, 10/27
Since there will be no troop meeting on November 3 due to Election Day, the sign up and $25 per person campout fee for the Nov 14-15 backpacking trip at Bill Hill Pond is due this Tuesday at the troop meeting. This trip is limited to the Phoenix and Battering Ram patrols to have a smaller group for safety reasons. Please pay with ScoutBucks or with PayPal or Plastiq on the www.troop48.org website. Please note that you will be charged administrative fees if paying with Plastiq. If you cannot attend the troop meeting, please email Mr. Bo Hormberg to sign-up prior to the 10/27 troop meeting and let him know how you are paying.
TODAY, 10/25 from 2 PM to 4 PM – Greenery Fundraiser Order Turn-In
· Bring your Greenery order form, Holiday Gift Order Forms, and money to turn in to Marjorie Reynolds at her home at 2098 Star Meadow Cove, Germantown, TN 38139 on Sunday 10/25 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
· If you have collected cash, please convert it to a check to turn in. Checks should be made payable to “Troop 48”.
· For Holiday gift orders that will be shipped via FedEx, please fill out a separate Holiday Gift Order form for each order. Ms. Reynolds has additional forms if you need them.
· Scouts earn 60% of the profit for the greenery items they sell in their Scout Bucks account.
Scouts BSA Registration Fees due by November 10
The Scouts BSA Registration fees for 2021 are due by November 10. The fee for Scouts is $78 and includes subscription to Boys Life magazine. The fee for registered adults is $42. You may pay with ScoutBucks or with PayPal or Plastiq on the troop website. If you would like to pay by check, please mail your check no later than November 5 to Mr. Frederick Lee, 1210 Evergreen Ridge West, Collierville, TN 38017. If you do not wish to renew your membership for 2021, please let our Committee Chair Kim Ridenhour know.
Adult Volunteers Needed
· We need an adult volunteer to manage our troop’s Facebook site, posting articles each week. Material for posting will be provided. If you are interested in this role, please contact Kim Ridenhour. We also are looking for someone to replace Kim as Committee Chair. Let Kim or John Campbell know if you are interested in that role.
· The next Troop Committee meeting will be on November 2 at 7 PM on WebEx. All parents are welcome to attend Troop Committee meetings. If you are not a Committee member, but would like to attend the Committee meeting, please let Kim Ridenhour know and she will send you the WebEx invitation.
All Troop 48 in-person activities are cancelled until the church informs us that we can return.
