In-Person Outdoors Troop Meeting this Tuesday – 7 PM-8:30 PM
Please note that the troop meeting on May 25 will be 1 1/2 hours, so please plan to pick up at 8:30 PM. Please note:
- Bring a chair, you may want to bring a water bottle, masks are required, wear Class A uniforms
- Restroom clean-up volunteer is Melody Artz
Memorial Day Service Project – this Saturday, May 29
We will be assisting with flag placement at the West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd, Memphis, beginning at 8 am on Saturday, May 29. (best to be there by 7:45 am). There will not be a ceremony or gathering before flag placement this year. Be prepared for hard ground - bring a screwdriver & hammer/mallet to make a pilot hole for the flag. Wear your Class A uniform and a mask.
Congrats to our Outstanding Volunteers
The Eastern District Awards Picinic was held this past Saturday and Mr. Frederick Lee was honored as our Troop 48 Outstanding Volunteer this year. Congratulations Fred!
Also, Mr. Barry Moore was awarded the District Award of Merit for his work as a Unit Commissioner. Congratulations Barry!
