Campout Fee due this Tuesday, January 31
The $25 per person campout fee and sign-up for the February 10-12 campout at Moore Woods is due this Tuesday at the Troop Meeting. Please sign up and pay by the deadline.
Spaghetti Supper – February 17
Our Spaghetti Supper fundraiser will be on Friday, February 17. Many thanks to Mr. Kenneth McLean who will be leading our fundraiser this year! We need all Scouts and all parents to help work at the event. Please also sell as many tickets as possible. If you haven’t received tickets to sell, please get those from Mr. Fred Lee. Scouts will earn a free ticket for every 8 tickets sold. Scouts will need to turn in money for tickets sold and any unsold tickets. Each family will need to provide two desserts (can be store bought or homemade) for the supper. Links for the adult job sign-up and dessert sign-ups are below. If you don’t know what dessert you are bringing yet, just sign up indicating you’ll bring 2 desserts (it’s more important to sign up than to know exactly what you are bringing).

Merit Badge College Opportunity – February 18
A Merit Badge College is being offered at St. Benedict at Auburndale High School in Cordova on Saturday, February 18th. The opening ceremony begins at 8 am and classes begin at 8:30 am. The cost is $30 for Scouts and $10 for Adults (lunch included). See the link below to get more detailed information in the Troop Leaders Information Packet that can be downloaded from the website. Online registration must be completed by February 11, so please let Scoutmaster Dockstader know if you are interested in attending by February 7. The online registration is done for the entire troop, not by individual.

Scout Sunday – Date Change to February 19
Scout Sunday has been rescheduled from February 5th to February 19th. We would like all Scouts and their families to attend services at Faith Presbyterian Church that Sunday. All Scouts should arrive in Class A uniforms at 10:00 am for troop photos in the chapel. Donuts will be provided for Scouts, leaders and their families. The service will be in Faith Hall at 10:45 am. This is an opportunity to demonstrate to our Chartered Organization that Troop 48 scouts practice the 12th Scout Law, a scout is reverent. All Scout troops nationwide do this in February.
