February Campout Postponed to 2/27-2/28 – Changes due by Saturday, 2/20
Due to the icy conditions of the backroads to the Jordan Ranch, we will postpone our backpacking trip to the following weekend, February 27 and 28. If you can no longer attend, we will issue a $20.00 credit to your Scout Bucks account. If you didn’t sign up previously and would like to attend, you may request to be placed on the waitlist. Please contact me, Kim Ridenhour for either scenario by Saturday, February 20. All others have nothing further to do. A revised trip plan will be sent next week.
Bike Hike on March 6
Here is more information for the Saturday, March 6 troop bike ride on the Big River Crossing (if weather is bad, we will not have it).
• Tentative drop off of 10:00, pick up of 2:00, may change based on weather
• Drop off location will be the Big River Crossing on Channel 3 Drive
• Sign-up for the bike ride will be on Tuesday, March 2, there will be no cost
• Please make sure your bicycle is in good working order prior to arrival
• Bicycle helmets are required and must be worn while riding
• Bring a sack lunch and your own beverages
• We will ride somewhere between 6 and 15 miles
If anyone has an extra bike that a Scout could borrow for the bike ride, please let Mr. Hormberg know.
All Troop 48 in-person activities are canceled until the church informs us that we can return.
