- All Troop 48 activities are cancelled through May 31
- Congratulations to Alex Vietzke, who completed his Eagle Board of Review virtually this week!
- Flag placement for Memorial Day at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery will not have a formal program this year. Instead, they are asking for volunteers to place flags starting Monday, May 18 each day at 8 AM through Friday, May 22 until all flags are placed. We are not participating as a troop, but we wanted to provide the information if you and your family wanted to volunteer. Martin Hoffert will be on site to distribute the flags. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask. Wear your Class A uniform, and you may want to bring a screwdriver or tool to make a hole in the ground for the flag. There will be a bagpipe player on Monday, May 18 at 10 am and Monday, May 25th at 11:20 am. The address of the cemetery is:

- The Scoutmaster corps met to develop a plan for virtual meetings beyond what the Flying Falcons patrol (new Scouts) has been having on Tuesday nights. A pilot will be taking place this week for a limited selection of Scouts working on their Second Class rank. More to come after this session is evaluated.
