Barbecue Fundraiser – July 4th – ORDERS ARE DUE BY TOMORROW
Attached is an order form for our Troop’s July 4th BBQ fundraiser. Please sell as much as possible, and please complete a separate order form for each order. The orders are due by June 18 to Stephanie Hardin. You can email orders to Stephanie at SCMH9904@gmail.com. No Scout Bucks are awarded for this fundraiser, but it is an important one that helps fund our campouts, Summer Adventure, Skymont summer camp and camping equipment.
Summer Adventure – July 6-13, Prep meeting on July 2
Those attending the Summer Adventure need to plan to attend a meeting at the church on Tuesday, July 2 at 7 PM. You will need to bring your pack on July 2, already packed and ready to go with everything you are bringing, and then the packs will be left at the church until the departure on July 6. If you have any questions about what to bring or need gear, please contact Mr. Bo Hormberg.
Summer Schedule
There will be no regular troop meetings on June 18, 25 and July 2, 9 for the summer break. On July 2, only those attending the Summer Adventure will meet. Weekly troop meetings will resume on July 16 after the break.
Troop 48 90th Anniversary Celebration – August 17
Our troop is having its 90th anniversary this year, and we will celebrate with friends and alumni on August 17th. See the attached letter for details and the ticket order form. A BBQ dinner will be served led by our own Richard Ralph and his Serial Grillers BBQ team. Tickets are $10 per person if purchased prior to August 8th, $15 per person after August 8. We would like everyone from the Troop to plan to attend this event, so please mark this on your calendars and purchase your tickets from Kim Ridenhour.
