Schedule Reminder
Regular weekly Tuesday night Troop meetings resume this week July 21st at 7 pm. Wear Class B uniforms until Labor Day.
Barbecue Fundraiser – What a Success!
Many thanks to Richard Ralph and the World Champion Serial Grillers team for a successful July 4th Barbecue sale! We raised over $4,000 and the barbecue was delicious!
August Camping / Canoeing Trip
On August 14th we will be canoeing along the Eleven Point River in Southeast Missouri. We will be camping Friday night at 11 Point River Canoe Rental. Their office is at the Intersection of US 160 and State Highway 19 in Alton, MO. The estimated drive time is 4 hours / 203 miles. We will camp along the river on Saturday night. Scouts and adults must have taken a BSA swim check and be classified as a “BSA Swimmer” (not a Beginner) prior to the trip. The second and last swim check will be offered on Tuesday August 4th prior to the Scout meeting at LifeTime Fitness on Houston Levee in Collierville at 6 pm. (For those who did not earn “BSA Swimmer” on April 14th, you must have been practicing in order to take the check a second time.) Please contact Bo Hormberg or Barry Moore to schedule to attend the swim check on August 4th.
The cost of this trip, for our Scouts, registered adults and dads, is $40, which is discounted from the $60 actual cost. This discount was made possible by the great barbecue fundraiser we had.
The $40 is due on August 4th.

Christmas Greenery Referrals
If you know of any other groups outside of our area that would be interested in selling the Christmas greenery like we do, please let Gina Eddleman know. If we refer that group and they choose to sell the greenery, we can get a referral rebate of $0.75 for each 25” wreath we sell this fall.
