Troop 48 Update - 10/16/20

Posted on Mon, Nov 16, 2020

This Saturday, 10/17 from 10 AM to Noon Outside the Ralph Moak Garage at Faith Presbyterian Church

· We will have cards to sign to send to Mr. Provine’s family. Please stop by to sign the cards if you can.

· We will have used uniform parts and Troop 48 t-shirts available for free, first come, first served. If you have items to donate, bring them at 10 am.

· Bring your Popcorn orders, money, and prize selection to turn in to Kim Ridenhour. We will have some prizes for those who turn in Popcorn orders.

Welcome to Troop 48

We would like to welcome Miller Utterback to Troop 48, and his parents Chuck and Lauren Utterback. Miller is transferring from Troop 331. We are glad to have you with us!

Can being an Eagle Scout help you get into college? We asked the schools

Adult Volunteers Needed

· We need adult volunteers to assist with the Greenery and Popcorn sales. This year, Marjorie Reynolds will lead the Greenery sale and Kim Ridenhour will lead the Popcorn sale, but this is the last year they will be doing it, so we would like to have two volunteers work with them this year so they can lead the sales next year. If you are interested in either of these roles, please contact Kim Ridenhour

· We need an adult volunteer to manage our troop’s Facebook site, posting articles each week. Material for posting will be provided. If you are interested in this role, please contact Kim Ridenhour.  We also are looking for someone to replace Kim as Committee Chair. Let Kim or John Campbell know if you are interested in that role.

· The next Troop Committee meeting will be on November 2 at 7 PM on WebEx. All parents are welcome to attend Troop Committee meetings. If you are not a Committee member, but would like to attend the Committee meeting, please let Kim Ridenhour know and she will send you the WebEx invitation.

All Troop 48 in-person activities are cancelled until the church informs us that we can return.
