January Campout
- Backpacking trip on Sylamore Trail from Blanchard Springs to Allison, Arkansas is January 24 - 26; $20.00 is due no later than January 14th so patrols can purchase food to be distributed on January 21st. For planning purposes, there will be no late additions for this trip.
Cherokee Area Council, B.S.A., is looking for Skymont Staff. This is from the Council:
- We are now accepting applications for Skymont Summer Camp Staff. If you are interested in working at Skymont go to skymont.org for more information. You must be a minimum of 15 years old and a few staff positions require applicants to be at least 21 years old. Those interested in working on staff contact Ryan Naegele, Program Director, at Ryan.Naegele@Scouting.org. Submit your application now to: Cherokee Area Council, BSA, 6031 Lee Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Click here to print application. Any Scout interested should see Mr. Issing first.

Mother’s Neckband Ribbon Order
- Please let Kim Ridenhour know if you would like to order a Mother’s Neckband Ribbon for rank advancement pins. The cost is $7.50 and money and orders will be due by January 14th. There are two choices – one for only Boy Scouts and one for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. If you are missing any past rank pins from Boy Scouts or Cub Scouts, let Kim know which ones you need replaced.
